Collaborations and Guest appearances

Rory appears on none less than 19 collaborations on different albums.

1992

Rory had longtime relationships and friendship with The Dubliners

He had the occasion to share two songs on their '30 Years a Greying'' album:

I am pretty sure he appreciated the fact to cover his own song: 'Barley & Grape Rag', (a song he wrote and published in 1976 on 'Calling Card' Album), where he played guitar, harmonica and tambourine and share lead vocals with Ronnie Drew

and

'Let The Circle Be Unbroken', a famous US Country Music tune, where he played an harmonica solo.

1984

Box of Frogs

Rory played on two songs:

'The Edge' (where he played his recognizable style slide guitar)

and ''nto The Dark' a Reggae style song (where he played sitar)

Box of Frogs were an English Rock Band, formed in 1983, by former members of The Yardbirds.

We could notice that the harmonica Player Mark Fekltham also played on this album (first time he met Rory ?)
